Hangover Relief Drink Recipe

This drink is a blend of sweetness and tartness. The natural sugars in pear and apple juices provide a gentle sweetness, while the coconut water adds a tropical, slightly nutty undertone. The ginger brings a mild, spicy zing, and the ginseng offers an earthy depth, creating a well-rounded flavor profile.

Each ingredient is chosen for its potential to alleviate common hangover symptoms. Pear and apple juices are rich in essential vitamins and provide natural hydration, coconut water replenishes electrolytes lost during alcohol consumption, ginger helps ease nausea, ginseng boosts your energy levels, and milk thistle supports liver function.

Note: The entire recipe is meant to be one single serving. For light hangovers, I recommend one serving. Anything worse and I recommend drinking more than one serving.

Ingredients

1/2 cup of pear juice
1/2 cup of apple juice
1/2 cup of coconut water
1 teaspoon of grated ginger
1/2 teaspoon of ginseng powder
A pinch of salt
100 mg of milk thistle extract

Instructions

Blend the pear juice, apple juice, coconut water, grated ginger, and ginseng powder until smooth.

Add the milk thistle extract and mix well.

Serve the drink chilled

More Recovery Tips

Continue to drink water throughout the day. Dehydration is a key contributor to hangover symptoms, so keeping yourself well-hydrated is crucial.

Opt for light, nutritious meals that are easy on your stomach. Include fruits, vegetables, and proteins to replenish nutrients.

Give your body the time it needs to recover. If possible, take it easy and allow yourself some extra rest.

Avoid Alcohol! Give your body a break from alcohol to fully recover. Additional alcohol consumption can prolong or worsen hangover symptoms.

If you feel up to it, engage in gentle physical activity like walking or stretching. This can boost your mood and energy levels.
